Elon Musk’s AI company released Grok 4.7 on September 21, 2026. Musk said it’s about even with Claude Opus 5. Don’t take his word for it. Give it a real job next to your usual AI and judge for yourself.

Grok 4.7 isn’t in the Grok app yet. The company says that’s coming later. Today you can try it on OpenRouter, a site that runs many AIs side by side. You’ll add $5 of credit, and one test costs well under a dollar.

Open OpenRouter Chat. Click Add Model at the top, type Grok 4.7, and click it.

Click the + next to Grok 4.7 and add the AI you use most.

Claude user? Type Opus 5.5 and pick Claude Opus 5.5. Skip the one that says batch.

Pick the one without “batch.”

ChatGPT user? Type GPT-6 and pick GPT-6 Astra, OpenAI’s top model.

Give them a real job

Paste this into the Ask anything box. Swap the [brackets] for a real listing, then press Enter. Every AI gets the same words at the same time.

Write a listing description for this home:
[3 bed, 2 bath, 1,800 sq ft ranch in Your Town. New kitchen, big fenced backyard, walk to downtown. Listed at $450,000.]

Rules:
- Under 150 words.
- Only use the facts I gave you. Don't make anything up.
- Don't use the words stunning, nestled or boasts.
- Follow fair housing rules: describe the home, not who should live there.

Then write a 2-sentence Instagram caption for it.
